5 things for which I have a thing...

I have a big big thing for hearts.
I have a secret thing for egg cups.
I love to put my things in pretty tins.
I like to shop for vintage cake stands,
Which I love to fill with yummy anythings...

Yesterday we had a stand at the wonderful Duck Pond Market in Ruislip. It was our first time and it was a really lovely day.

What made it so special? The joyful singers, the oh so tempting food stalls, the fun fair atmosphere, the talented designers and the friendly visitors.

Thank you to Caron for having us. We would love to come again...

For more information, please visit

Here is a pic of our handmade goodies.

We met the lovely Emma and her hubby from Mama's Little Bakery.
See the fabulous cake stands filled with even more gorgeous cupcakes.

Pink is my favourite colour...

Cookie!

We just had to try one of the colourful new Cake Kebabs.

Simply delicious!

See you all again soon... x

Cute stuff in London...

On my recent visits to London, I have seen lots of cute stuff to share with you. Must remember to take my camera with me wherever I go.

Look at these super cute girls... I love their hair accessories, dresses, bags and shoes. If I were a cartoon character, I think I'd dress like them too. Oh so kawaii... x

Spotted at Hyper Japan 2011 at London Olympia 2

Have you seen this little cutie on your shopping trips in Westfield London too? Surrounded by gooey chocolate brownies and white chocolate chip cookies... That's how I'd like to be as well.

Find him at the Snog frozen yoghurt bar

Cute in size but fabulous in looks. This gorgeously bejewelled trinket box definitely caught my eye... x

Lots more to see at my favourite museum in London, the V&A

I love to admire the wonderful window displays in London too. They are the best ever. This was my favourite of the day. Filled with pink, candy, florals, stationery and fabrics.

It had to be Liberty

Can a cake be cute too? Sure it can... and ever so yummy to finish a fun day out in the capital city.

Come and visit London soon... x

I love Christmas...

Freshly designed and handmade in my tiny home studio in the UK.

I love to draw new designs with good old-fashioned paper and pencil.

The colourful felt pieces are cut by hand and then sewn together by hand with much patience, care and love.

No machinery involved at all.

That's what makes me happy... x

Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, along with Valentine's Day, of course.

Here are the latest additions to my collection of cute and colourful handmade Christmas decorations.

Oh welcome, dear Christmas Tree...

I love hearts and cakes too...

Today I had a little stall at the Bourne End Community Market to sell my handmade goodies

Here I met two lovely ladies who bake the most delicious cakes...

Suzannah makes pretty cupcakes, fabulous celebration cakes and yummy cake pops too.
I couldn't resist this little cutie... a vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting and topped with a pink heart x

Rosie who organises the event on the second Saturday of each month also bakes a cake or two.
I spotted this one even before she had set up her table.
I simply had to buy it before anyone else saw it too.

As you may already know, I love hearts and cakes too...
But I especially love heart-shaped cakes x

My favourite little shop...

In a fabulous little place called Bellagio which is situated on Lake Como in Italy... Our favourite place to spend a holiday x

Whenever and wherever we go, we love to buy a decoration or two for our Christmas tree. It's the most spoilt tree we know.

Going to Italy in May we thought it would be too early to find any decorations...

But we discovered this wonderful shop full of handmade glass gifts and Christmas decorations.

The lovely lady let me take some photos for my blog.
So here I am sharing my secret find with you...

You must visit or maybe you have already been there too...

I Vetri di Bellagio
Via Garibaldi, 41/60
22021 Bellagio
Como
Italy

We couldn't resist popping in more than once and were unable to leave without buying a little something each time...

I loved all the cute fused glass trees, stockings, snowflakes, snowmen and nativity characters.

An upside-down Christmas tree draped in delicate glass garlands...

I love these colourful glass balloons too. Take me home...

Arrivederci! See you soon... x

I know it's only June, but I'm already getting into the Christmas mood and plan to make more of my own cute decorations.

Hope you like them...

Happy Easter to you...

Lately I've really been into egg cups and egg cosies. They are so cute... miniature works of art really.

I don't even eat eggs for breakfast but they remind me of my school days when we all had time for a sit down breakfast together.

So I was absolutely thrilled to have won Charlotte Macey's latest blog giveaway this month. A gorgeous pair of bunny egg cosies...

We have Beatrix on the left and Benjamin on the right. How lovely they are together. I think I may have to start eating eggs for breakfast now...

Happy Easter to you all x
